KOMPONENTA is an analytical company that engages in in-depth research of the urban environment and its potential for development. It offers solutions aligned with the global sustainability concepts and goals while considering the social, cultural, environmental and economic aspects symbiotically. We explore the stakeholders in the investment process in the territory and create the right conditions for dialogue between them. We analyse the spatial development of the territory and identify and map the involved stakeholders. We aim to enable a comprehensive mediation process in the course of the investment development. KOMPONENTA also provides advisory support to both investors and city planners in the development of socially and environmentally sustainable projects and concepts. We research and identify ways to adapt new urban development policies into the concepts that urban planners create for their clients.
Our mission
KOMPONENTA aims to have a key role in finding the commonground between the desires, expectations and goals of all participants in the process of preparing and creating a project – the client, the planners, the administration, the society. Our goal is to facilitate the creation of partnerships between the diverse actors of the spatial planning process.

Responsibility and transparency
A fundamental perspective through which we view our projects, initiatives and actions. We develop our concepts through the lens of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. We believe that economic and socio-cultural well-being is directly linked to a responsible attitude towards nature and our culture, history and society as a whole. Sustainable development as a concept has grown a lot over the years, receiving many different definitions. Each of them, however, addresses the balance in the relationship between the economy, the environment and society. It brings to the fore the global challenges that we face – challanges which we seek to tackle through our works. We strive to create concepts that contribute to the health and well-being of our societies, the preservation of biodiversity and the natural environment, and the reduction of the carbon footprint of cities. This brings us to an understanding of three forms of capital and three perspectives for action related to them:
- a social perspective,
- an economic perspective, and
- an environmental perspective
We believe we can achieve more when we work together. That's why we look for common ground, common understandings and common interests to build sustainable and meaningful synergies and lasting partnerships. We refer to the principle of collaboration, which is based on the understanding that societal and urban development and maintaining balance in them are a shared responsibility, which implies that all parts of society should be active participants in this process.
We approach our city, our work and our partners with responsibility, ensuring that processes and relationships are clear, structured and transparent for all parties. In addition, we monitor with responsibility the commitments we and our partners are making in order to achieve traceability and trust in our work, our communication and in the good end result.
*Complementary principles for the mediation processes
Equity
Although we live in a world that does not provide equal opportunities, we still strive as people and professionals to create conditions for equity. It is for this reason that we make a special effort in our work and carefully ensure that our processes are structured to provide equal opportunities for inclusion.
Impartiality/Neutrality
The best decisions come when we can go beyond the personal and the primary. For us, this would be possible when we are impartial with regards to the parties we work with and do not put the interests of one party ahead of those of another.
Tolerance
We approach each party with understanding and make a clear assessment of their capabilities and strengths in the process. We structure the process so as to give equal opportunity for participatiob to the less advantaged party, taking strict care that this does not compromise our impartiality and neutrality in the process.
Confidentiality
We ensure the confidentiality of information concerning the parties and the confidentiality of the process itself, if the case requires it.
