Objective
The Transportation Plan is intended to guide warehouse developers to organize traffic and measures that affect transportation so that fewer private vehicles are used, especially single-occupant vehicle trips, and to encourage sustainable travel methods such as public transit, walking, and bicycling. Improve employee health, reduce transport costs, and ease traffic and parking congestion. With this task, we help the designers and the developer organize the space and its maintenance measures so that it is as environmentally and socially friendly as possible regarding the transport accessibility of the place.

- Assessment of existing conditions
The work starts with an analysis of the transport around CTPark Sofia West. This includes the site’s accessibility by public transport, the state of the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, and the transport habits of employees and visitors. It also identifies key challenges such as a lack of convenient connections, insufficient awareness, or limited alternatives to private cars.
- Develop strategies and measures
Specific solutions are proposed based on the data collected to improve transport accessibility and mobility organization in and to the client’s site. The primary focus is to create more favorable conditions for alternative modes of travel, such as cycle parking and cleaning stations. In addition to infrastructure improvements, the strategic approach also includes incentives to use public transport and ridesharing and information campaigns that raise awareness of more sustainable modes of travel.
This approach to mobility supports sustainable mobility management in CTPark Sofia West by promoting more environmentally friendly and efficient modes of travel.
Development outcome
The outcome is a comprehensive travel plan to and from the site that proposes concrete measures to achieve the set objectives:
- Improve access to public transport through analysis and optimization proposals;
- Measures to encourage cycling and walking, including building infrastructure and information campaigns;
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the plan to ensure its effectiveness.
Expected results include reduced traffic, improved employee health, improved mood and communication among employees, cost savings, and better integration of sustainable transport solutions into the urban environment.
